Data: Nearly 18,000 Wisconsinites Gain Employment After Walker’s Welfare Reforms

MacIver News Service – One and a half years after Gov. Scott Walker’s welfare reforms went into effect, 17,801 Wisconsinites have gained employment through the FoodShare Employment Training (FSET) program. Workers Stuck in Disability Stunt Economic Recovery

From The Wall Street Journal – A typical economic recovery would include an increase in job creation, a drop in the unemployment rate, and a large return of workers to the labor force. While the country has seen modest job growth since 2009, when the recession ended, and a drop in the unemployment rate, the labor force has not increased.
