Hours before social justice activists looted State Street, members of the Catholic Diocese of Madison staged a very different kind of protest. After the Madison and Dane County said they had to limit mass attendance to 50 people or less, they marched around the Capitol praying the Rosary. The diocese followed up with a lawsuit the next week, and that’s all it took.
