In Second Year of UW Budget Cuts, Students Still Struggling to Cope [Sarcasm Alert]

[Madison, Wis…] More than a year after Gov. Scott Walker signed the 2015-2017 state budget, which cut a total of $250 million from the UW System over two years, the MacIver Institute has once again investigated the plight of UW-Madison and its students inflicted by the devastating cuts.

While the budget cut amounted to just 2.1 percent of the system’s total two-year budget, some nonetheless declared it to be armageddon for higher education in Wisconsin.

The MacIver Institute visited UW-Madison during the first week of classes to look into the dire situation on campus. What we found may shock you. The flagship UW campus is but a shell of its former self. Brace yourself before watching this video.
