WEC Creates Voter Information "Hub"
Wisconsin’s election managers are promising a one-stop shop for voters ahead of this year’s elections.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission on Tuesday unveiled its 2026 Election Information Hub.
"[The Hub is] designed to bring news, data, key election dates, and voter resources from across the agency’s extensive website into a single, easy-to-navigate destination," WEC said. "The new hub is geared towards improving public access to election information during the 2026 election cycle and beyond."
There is very little that is new at the hub. Most of the information, including links on how to register to vote or request an absentee ballot were already available on the Election Commission's website.
WEC also says the hub will have election results, election statistics, election manuals, an Election 101 primer, election press releases, and a section on election security.
"The Wisconsin Elections Commission takes any allegation of election misconduct seriously, whether it is by candidates, voters, political parties, or other groups seeking to influence the outcome of elections," WEC wrote. "As part of its mission to ensure the integrity of individual ballots as well as election results in Wisconsin, the Commission continues its commitment to working with municipal and county election officials and local and statewide law enforcement agencies to prevent errors and opportunities for voter fraud and to detect and prosecute cases of illegal voting which may occur."
The Commission has been dogged by complaints of voter fraud, or the opportunity for voter fraud, since the 2020 election.
WEC has said there's been no evidence presented of widespread fraud that would have changed the outcome of that race.
Voters in Wisconsin have already voted once, in the February primary, but many of them didn't have any real choices. Voters will next head to the polls April 7th. After that there will be a primary in August, and of course Election Day in November.
