Tiffany on the Growth of Socialism
The Republican running for governor in Wisconsin admits that democratic socialism is having a moment across the country, but he is vowing to fight it in this state.
Tom Tiffany says voters need to understand the choice they’ll face on the ballot this fall.
“[Democrats] are going to outsource the socialist agenda on the people of Wisconsin,” Tiffany said during an interview on News Talk 1130 WISN.
Tiffany, who is currently the congressman from the Northwoods, said we saw the same thing during the Biden Administration. While Biden was the president, the policies from his administration came from the socialists.
“Think about Joe Biden in 2020 when he became President. Who did he outsource policy to? Bernie Sanders,” he explained. “And make no doubt about it, it doesn’t matter if it’s Francesca Hong, Mandela Barnes, or Sara Rodriguez. They’re all going to do the same thing.”
Tiffany said part of those policies here in Wisconsin would be an “immigrants first” policy.
“It is very clear that in Francesca Hong’s world, as well as I believe the rest of the Democrats’ in the field, that immigrants come first. And Wisconsinites come last,” Tiffany added.
On Wednesday, Tiffany shared a clip from Francesca Hong during a recent Democrat’s candidate forum where she pushed for taxpayer-supported car seats and car repair for illegal immigrants.
“It is time that government actually get into helping to build community safety when the systems around us are failing,” Hong said.
“I don’t think there is any other way to interrupt what she was saying,” Tiffany said. “It is clear that [Democrats] stand with illegals first.”
Tiffany said he wants to create a “firewall” against that kind of thinking, and socialism in general here in Wisconsin.
“Because if we don’t stop it now, it’s going to make its way across America,” Tiffany said.
