Ron Johnson: Joe Biden’s Legacy is Cemented as “Corrupt”

"The Worst President in U.S. History"

For Wisconsin’s Republican U.S. Senator, the history books on President Joe Biden are already written.

“Joe Biden is not only the worst President in U.S. history but also the most corrupt,” Johnson said on Twitter Monday.

Johnson, like almost every single other Wiscosin Republican on Capitol Hill, blasted President Biden for his decision to pardon his son, Hunter.

“My guess is that he'll go down in history as probably the worst, not only the worst president in US history, but also the most corrupt,” Johson told Fox News Channel’s Maria Bartiromo.

Johnson spent years investigating Hunter Biden through his Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs.

On Tuesday, Johnson released the 87-page report from his committee on Hunter Biden, his dealings with the Ukrainian gas company Burimsa, and the lack of cooperation that the Obama Administrations provided during the committee’s work.

“What the Chairmen discovered during the course of this investigation is that the Obama administration knew that Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board was problematic and did interfere in the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine. Moreover, this investigation has illustrated the extent to which officials within the Obama administration ignored the glaring warning signs when the vice president’s son joined the board of a company owned by a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch. And, as will be discussed in later sections, Hunter Biden was not the only Biden who cashed in on Joe Biden’s vice presidency,” the report states. “This report not only details examples of extensive and complex financial transactions involving the Bidens, it also describes the quandary other U.S. governmental officials faced as they attempted to guide and support Ukraine’s anti-corruption efforts.”

Johnson was even more critical immediately after Biden’s pardon.

“Just confirming that under Democrat governance, there truly is a dual system of justice.

One that protects Democrats and another weaponized against their political opponents,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Johnson is not the only Wisconsin Republican blasting the president for his son’s pardon.

Western Wisconsin Republican Congressman Derrick Van Orden jumped the on the president’s decision as well.

“President Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter is a striking confirmation that he is one of the most crooked presidents in United States history. Hunter is guilty of committing numerous crimes yet flouted the justice system solely because of his last name. President Biden, who repeatedly lied to the American people about a pardon, abused his authority to shield his son from the consequences of his crimes,” Van Orden said in a statement. “This blatant and disgusting abuse of power by the president cements his legacy as one of corruption and disgrace.”
