Laurie McCallum

Treasurer

Laurie McCallum, former First Lady of Wisconsin, was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Arizona, and received her law degree from Southern Methodist University. 

She practiced law with the State of Wisconsin for 41 years, including three years as Governor Dreyfus’s deputy chief counsel, and 29 years as a commissioner with the Wisconsin Personnel Commission, and with the Wisconsin Labor and Industry Review Commission. 

Laurie is an accomplished classical pianist. She and her husband, former Governor Scott McCallum, have three adult children, and five grandchildren. 

Laurie has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations, and is currently a director of the MacIver Institute for Public Policy.
