MI Reality Check: Evers Won't Cooperate With ICE
The claim: "Do not answer questions, including when an (ICE) agent presents a warrant with an individual name." -- Gov. Tony Evers' Department of Administration on cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement efforts to deport illegal aliens.
Reality: Instead of working with federal law enforcement to ensure dangerous illegal immigrants are removed from the country, Gov. Evers is standing in the way of law and order. 1.7 million Wisconsinites voted in support of President Trump’s plan to secure the border. But Gov. Evers is ignoring the will of voters yet again and continuing to fear monger. While President Trump has secured the border, Gov. Evers’ needs to protect our citizens. His extreme position continues to put the far left ahead of the best interests of Wisconsin.
