Ethics Chair David Halbrooks is the only high profile Democrat to criticize the John Doe investigation. Not only that, but he’s the only public official to demand Gov. Walker and the Assembly take steps to remove John Chisholm as Milwaukee DA for orchestrating John Doe. He says party affiliation should be factor, and the state needs to make sure nothing like John Doe can ever happen again.
Halbrooks knows first hand what John Doe entailed. Chisholm used it as an excuse to seize Halbrooks emails about a case that involved Chisholm. MNS’ Bill Osmulski has more.
