[Madison, Wisc…] Happy five year anniversary of the fake doctor notes episode of the Act 10 saga. Five years ago today, the MacIver staff was walking back from covering a tea party rally on the other side of the square and we came upon, literally in front of our building, a group of doctors giving medical “exams” in the street and handing out notes to government workers protesting collective bargaining reform at the Capitol. The doctors handed out the notes so the protestors would not be penalized or lose pay for protesting during the work day. Liberal activists bemoaned MacIver’s work to expose this fraud, calling it a “real impediment to our message.” So sorry the truth and the fact that we broadcast our video to the western world is an impediment to your message. Just kidding, we are not sorry.
