In testimony submitted to the Congress’ Joint Economic Committee, Jared Meyers addressed the entrepreneurial aspirations of millennials, but also why so few seem to be achieving those dreams. On the relationship between entrepreneurship and regulation, Meyers said, “It is no coincidence that the Internet technology field offers the most opportunities for young Americans, and that it is also the least regulated.”

The rich are getting richer, but the poor are getting richer too.

Some cities are looking to prevent the estimated $104-164 billion businesses lose because of power shortages by decentralizing the power grid with microgrids: local sources of power that can continue to keep a business running even if the main grid experiences a power shortage.
