[Madison, Wisc…] Gov. Scott Walker presented his sixth State of the State address to the people of Wisconsin before a joint session of the legislature on Tuesday. Walker said Wisconsin has made tremendous strides in the past five years, including low unemployment, a high labor force participation rate, and a consistent effort to lower taxes.

Walker wants to add to his goals for this year an increased emphasis on worker training and education at all levels. He proposed reforming how the state administers health insurance for its employees, a move which he says could save millions, and dedicating those savings for education.
