Walker Picks Bradley for Vacant Supreme Court Seat

MacIver News Service | October 9, 2015

[Madison, Wisc…] Governor Scott Walker announced Rebecca Bradley as his pick to fill Justice Crook’s vacant seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court Friday.

Crooks passed away two weeks ago, but he had already decided not to run for reelection this coming spring. Bradley had already declared her candidacy for that race.

Some say Walker appointing her now gives her an unfair advantage, while others say it hurts her chances because Walker’s poll numbers are down. She says it will be up to voters to decide in the spring, and she believes her record will speak for itself.
