Assembly Passes Bill To Scrap GAB

[Madison, Wisc…] The Wisconsin Assembly voted 58-39 to eliminate the Government Accountability Board and replace it with two bi-partisan commissions on Wednesday.

Republicans argued having equal representation from both parties is the best way to ensure fairness. Democrats said it marked an end to open government in Wisconsin.
