Sen. Stroebel: My First Priority is to Repeal Prevailing Wage

[Madison, Wisc…] Former state representative and newly elected state Sen. Duey Stroebel (R-Saukville) told reporters shortly after taking office that his first priority is repealing Wisconsin’s prevailing wage law – which costs taxpayers up to $300 million a year. To explain why it is his first concern, Stroebel sat down with the MacIver News Service and highlighted a project in his district that cost an extra $300,000 simply because of prevailing wage.
