Scott Walker’s Budget Includes More Education Reforms

[Madison, Wisc…] Gov. Scott Walker zeroed in on education reform in his budget address Tuesday night, highlighting past successes and future direction.

Walker wants a new accountability system that lets parents know exactly how their children’s schools are performing. At the same time, he wants do away with caps on school vouchers, so parents have options if their local schools are failing.

Walker also made proposals concerning funding, Common Core, and the UW system. Bill Osmulski has more in this video report.
