[Madison, Wisc…] Gov. Scott Walker toured the state on Wednesday to spread the good news that Wisconsin’s typical property tax bill is $141 lower than it was in 2010, just before he took office. Much of the drop is thanks to an additional $400 million in funding from the state for Wisconsin’s technical colleges. The funds reduced the tech colleges dependence on local property taxes by 50 percent this year.
