New Appointees Voice Concerns over GAB Reputation

[Madison, Wisc…] Two new Government Accountability Board (GAB) appointees testified at a public hearing Tuesday regarding their appointments and spoke about concerns over the GAB’s reputation when it comes to election oversight. The two current members, who have been reappointed, defended the GAB and its prior decisions. The four appointments must be confirmed by the Senate Committee on Elections and Urban Affairs and the full Senate before beginning their terms.
