Consumer Finance Protection Bureau Under Investigation, May Not Protect Consumers

[Madison, Wisc…] Boyden Gray, White House Counsel for President George H.W. Bush, spoke to The Federalist Society recently in Madison about his concerns with the overreach of the federal government. One organization he focused on was the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB). The Bureau is given power through the Dodd-Frank Act that is all but limitless when it comes to regulating the financial industry. Gray sat down with the MacIver News Service to discuss the CFPB.
