[Pewaukee, Wisc…] Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Burlington) and Rep. Dale Kooyenga (R-Brookfield) spoke with the MacIver News Service on Wednesday about the tax reform package that was approved by the Joint Committee on Finance. The plan will provide nearly $1 billion in tax relief, including about a $650 million income tax reduction. Vos and Kooyenga say it is their goal to keep lowering the tax burden on Wisconsin families and businesses in the future. Kooyenga would like to eventually create a flat tax that is below five percent.
