Eau Claire Schools to Save up to $2.32 Million by Switching Healthcare Provider

June 14, 2013

[Eau Claire, Wisc…] Eau Claire schools will save $1.75 million to $2.32 million after the school board unanimously voted to switch health care providers in April. If the district did not make the change to Marshfield Clinic’s Security Health Plan, they would have faced a 13 percent increase in premiums. The Eau Claire Area School District is just one of many districts across the state to find savings after Act 10.
