Ryan Has to Explain Why the Government Should Have a Balanced Budget

[Janesville, Wisc…] There are three budget proposals in Washington right now, but only one is balanced. That budget is the work of Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Janesville), who explained at a town hall listening session in April, why it’s important to have a balanced budget. He’s currently working with Sen. Patty Murray, who chairs the Senate Budget Committee, hoping to find some common ground before the two chambers attempt to move on to the next stage of the budget process.
