Chancellor David Ward’s Home Subject to Palermo’s Protest

[Madison, Wisc…] Protesters took their deomonstrations to UW-Madison Interim Chancellor David Ward’s home on Thursday, chanting things like “Palermo’s has got to go, Hey Hey, Ho Ho,” and “Si Se Puede.” The protest began at Bascom Hall, where the UW-Madison Chancellor’s office is located, and eventually ended up in front of Chancellor Ward’s residence. The MacIver News Service was the only news outlet to cover the protest that urged UW-Madison to end its contract with Palermo’s Pizza. Similar protests have previously occured at UW-Milwaukee.
