[Madison, Wisc…] The liberal campaign organization that is running the most provocative, some say outrageous, anti Scott Walker adds rreported receipts of one point five million dollars Thursday.The Greater Wisconsin Political Fund, which has been running ads in support of Democratic Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and in opposition to Republican Governor Scott Walker, hauled in $900,000 from the Democratic Governors Association.
We are Wisconsin, a Big Labor SuperPAC, also contributed $600,000 to the Greater Wisconsin fund.
This brings the total reported Big Labor investment in the recall campaign to at least $11 million. New finance reports are expected this week, although groups and candidates must now file daily reports of late major contributions received after May 21st.
The Thursday report for the Greater Wisconsin Political Fund indicates, however, these $1.5 million in contributions were received on the 23rd and 24th of May.
