[Madison, Wisc…] Democrats asked the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board on Tuesday to remove six candidates from upcoming recall primary ballots. The six candidates are running as Democrats, but the party says they’re fake Democrats. Republicans have openly admitted they’re protest candidates who are running to ensure that all the recalls have primaries so that there will be uniform election dates this May and June. They argue the state’s open primary system allows this. The GAB sided with Republicans, and the six candidates will appear on primary ballots on May 8th.
