Walker Resolute In Transportation Debate

[Neenah, Wisc…] Governor Scott Walker isn’t backing down on the transportation budget. He told reporters in Neenah on Thursday morning his budget means major projects stay on track, locals get more road and bridge aid, and bonding will be at a 16 year low. He said he will veto a gas tax or fee increase. Right now, his biggest concern is that the legislature could pull transportation out of the budget and pass it as separate legislation.
