Lawsuit Aims to Save Wisconsin’s Economy from the EPA

[Madison, Wisc…] Shortly after the federal Environmental Protection Agency finalized the Clean Power Plan – which would put a limit on carbon emissions across the country – Wisconsin joined a lawsuit to stop the proposal in its tracks. According to experts, the plan is just cap and trade under a different name and would cost the state thousands of jobs a year. The MacIver Institute sat down with Attorney General Brad Schimel and Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce Vice President of Government Affairs Scott Manely to discuss where the lawsuit stands and why it matters.
