[Madison, Wisc…] Protesters gathered in Milwaukee and Madison on Thursday to call for a higher minimum wage. However, organizers seemed to have more than a change in state law on their minds. At both events speakers talked openly about the importance of the upcoming election, even encouraging protesters to take part in campaign efforts for specific candidates.
