Assembly Passes Gov. Scott Walker’s Tax Cuts

[Madison, Wisc…] The Assembly passed Gov. Scott Walker’s tax cut package on Tuesday evening, which will provide $400 million in property tax relief and cut income taxes in the lowest bracket by $100 million. The bill passed 62-37, with Rep. Amy Sue Vruwink (D-Milladore) and Rep. Stephen Smith (D-Shell Lake) joining the Republicans. The bill will now head to the Senate.
