Sen. Grothman Goes After Nursing Home Voter Fraud

MacIver News Service | October 4, 2013

[Madison, Wisc…] Sen. Glenn Grothman (R-West Bend) introduced legislation on Thursday that takes aim at voter fraud in nursing homes. The senator’s fear is that it is easily possible for individuals in nursing homes to vote twice or staff may have the ability to vote for those under their care. Grothman’s bill would make this more difficult by adding more checks and balances into the system by creating special voting deputies that would be solely responsible for helping nursing home residents vote.
