[Madison, Wisc...] Author of "How Money Walks," Travis Brown was in Madison recently to speak about his new book. The book details how people and money move from state to state and finds that low tax states are attracting more people and wealth, while high tax states are losing them. Brown states that Governor Scott Walker and the Legislature currently have an opportunity to reduce the overall tax burden on families in Wisconsin and states that one of the most important things a state can do is to lower its marginal tax rate. He claims this lowers the price of work, and will lead to more economic development.
