The Shorewood School District will realize savings of $537,000 in the 2012-2013 school year thanks to a health insurance switch made possible by 2011's Act 10. The district will switch from their longtime provider WEA Trust to Wisconsin Counties Association Group Health Trust, a local network of private sector providers. Shorewood will retain WEA Trust for their dental care after WEAT dropped their premiums by over four percent to accomodate the district. For more on the switch, click here.
