Monroe School District Switches Health, Dental Carriers, Saves $820K

Monroe School District announced Thursday that they would switch their health and dental insurers for educational staff, creating a savings of over $821,000 for their local schools. The district dropped WEA Trust in favor of Unity Insurance, saving $800,000 in premiums. A move to Delta Dental will save Monroe's schools another $21,475.
