MacIver News Minute: Trump Asks Congress to Rescind $15 Billion in Spending

President Trump recently did something all too rare in Washington – he asked Congress to withdraw $15 billion in spending authority for a variety of programs that are past their sell-by date. He made the request using a rarely used 1974 law. The ball is now in Congress’s court to pass a bill rescinding the budgeted funds.
