Van loads of professional protesters showed up at last Friday’s gubernatorial debate at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. They were gathering to demand a $15 minimum wage, which candidate Tony Evers has pledged to deliver, at a “minimum.” But research shows such drastic government mandates actually backfire on the very people the left-wing agitators claim they want to help: low wage workers. But why let facts get in the way of a good slogan?
