Public employee unions in 11 states have convinced their legislatures to classify home health workers as government employees, essentially forcing them into union membership and diverting $200 million in Medicaid funds each year into union coffers. Other states could look to Wisconsin – which outlawed this scheme in 2011 – to stymie this union scam.
