Navy Veteran Mark Fink Shares His Story as a Tomah VA Nurse and, Later, Patient

March 15, 2018

Mark Fink knew something wasn’t right when he joined the staff at the Tomah VA Medical Center – the overprescription of powerful prescription drugs was rampant. But when he became a patient himself, the 20-year Navy veteran personally felt the toll that the facility’s reckless medical practices has taken on veterans. After a suicide attempt, Mark’s wife re-took control of his care and they left the VA behind. Today, Mark says, not much has changed at the Tomah VA. Fink and his wife join MacIver’s Matt Kittle as he guest hosts for Vicki McKenna on News/Talk 1130 WISN.
