Hutton Apprecticeship Bill Helps Expand Skilled Trades Workforce

MADISON, Wis. – Rep. Rob Hutton (R-Brookfield) explains his legislation that allows more skilled trades workers into the workforce by reducing an apprentice-to-journeyman ratio to 1-to-1 unless negotiated otherwise. The bill, AB 508, passed the Assembly 60-33 Thursday afternoon.

    20 to 30 years ago you couldn’t find a job in the skilled trades, it was all outsourced. I even worked with former tool and die makers and master mechanics.. now they are claiming they just can’t find any ..

    Is this another ploy for more immigration ?
