“I am honored to receive the Trendsetter award this year,” Novak said. “I am proud of the work we do at the MacIver Institute everyday, and it is humbling to be recognized for our efforts.”

Novak won the award for his work on MacIver’s event: How Washington is Betraying America’s Young. The event featured a panel of four millennials from Wisconsin and author Jared Meyer talking about the extreme overreach of the federal government and how it is impacting young Americans.

The award was presented during a ceremony at the State Policy Network’s Annual Meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 1st.
