Special Interests Fill Joint Finance Public Hearing

[Greendale, Wisc…] The Joint Committee on Finance held the first public hearing on Thursday at Greendale High School in Greendale, WI. The committee spent over eight hours listening to testimony about Governor Walker’s proposed budget. The hearing was open to the public, but most testimony came from representatives of special interests with requests to increase spending by hundreds of millions of dollars. Lambeau Field will host the next public hearing on Monday, April 8.
